In this series of ceramic pieces the designer’s goal is not perfection, but rather to explore the expressive qualities of the making process. The technique used here, of creating ceramic shapes by carving directly in plaster molds, has been developed over several years after its initial use in his study of the embodied void (see Void - Vessel).

It is a fast and direct way of working where the unexpected outcome is cherished, guiding new revelations.
