The inspiration for the Tap lamp originates in the designer’s desire to create alternative positions for the lamp rod by utilising two holes in the Walnut stand. Simply relying on weight and friction, the rod is guided into position to function as a work and reading lamp - or to illuminate an interior with its atmospheric lighting.

The simplistic but dual function and modest aesthetics makes it a very useful floor lamp for both home and office, throughout the daily activities.
